Join us for further expand your networking possibilities, while we bring local events to global audiences.
Considering all the new concepts emerging in dentistry, it is not surprising that many practitioners are finding it difficult to stay up to date. The assessment of new products and techniques is a major challenge facing dentists, such as yourself, today. This may be especially true for those of you who are in a single dentist practice, with only occasional professional communication with other practitioners.
Study clubs can help increase this interaction, providing you with the opportunity to gain knowledge about such products through your colleagues' experimentation and analysis or even from respected opinion leaders directly. Indeed, dental study clubs provide a quintessential opportunity for dentists to "meet with" other dentists and their team members and to learn in a friendly, non-threatening environment.
Bringing the study club online takes this concept to the next level, as interaction occurs world-wide. Suddenly, the educational mix is enhanced by various cultures and fresh perspectives.

Our developing library of both live and archived webinars provide dental professionals with 24-hour access to premium online lectures. Of the U.S. licensing jurisdictions that have currently implemented CE requirements for licensure renewal of dentists and allied staff, most accept the credits offered by ADA CERP. However, each licensing jurisdiction may have additional criteria that must be met. Various types of CE are recognized and accredited.
Self-study or self-instructional indicates that the dentist reviews the material on their own time, not in a live lecture or classroom setting. A post-test taken online is required after a self-study course is taken. This may take the form of a webcast (a recorded and archived webinar only) or text study.
There are two types of webinars: live and recorded. As mentioned, webinars that are recorded for dentists to review at anytime are SELF STUDY.
On the other hand, webinars, which are broadcasted live via the internet, are not considered self-study, because they are interactive. Participants have the opportunity to communicate with the speaker via real-time chat, etc. Such live and interactive webinars are considered LIVE CE and are regarded the same as any off-line, on-site lecture or hands-on workshop.
